Madalynn & I took off today for a girly day.  I had to go to A.C. Moore to get some craft supplies I couldn't find at my local Michael's.  It was over a 45 minute drive for me to spend $7, but it was okay b/c it was a beautiful day, and we had no where else to be.  After A.C. Moore we hit Papa Gino's for some pizza for lunch, and then ended at The Christmas Tree Shop.

At Papa Gino's I stepped out of my photographic comfort zone to take Madalynn's picture. As that is what I think this assignment is really about.  Becoming more comfortable as a photographer, and honing skills.  Fortunately it wasn't very crowded.

  1. Those look great. It's a little embarrassing to pull out the camera in a restaurant...or at least it was for my huband:)

  2. Great - You've added a new blog to my list. Great photos. I had to mention that when I was in CT for business I stayed an extra day and on Saturday the girls took me to RI to a Christmas Tree store (what a fun place) and the Vanderbilt Mansion and we drove around Newport. Looks/sounds like a fun day was had by you and Madalynn today.
